The North-Florence Neighborhood Association was established in April 2006 and is formally recognized by the City of Peoria. The Association represents all the residents and property owners of hte area bounded by Forrest Hill, Sheridan Road, War memorial Drive, and Knoxville Avenue, in hte City of Peoria, Illinois

Any resident of this area shall be considered a member of the Association if they have paid dues as approriate or have been granted a free membership.

The objectives and purposes of the association are:

  • to provide accurate and pertinent information to residents and property owners in a timely manner.
  • aid in procuring funding for neighborhood projects.
  • nurture a sense of unity and security amon residnets
  • work toward maintaining and/or improving property values.
  • form a united front in advocationg for remedies to neighborhood problems.
  • be and effective conduit for communicationg with city agencies/representatives in generaly improving the quality of life withing the neighborhood while, being a positive partner in overall city progress.

The regular meetings of the associaiton are held on the thired Tuesday of the first month of hte calendar quater (January, April, July, and October) at 6:30 PM in the Fellowhip area of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church located along the northern edge of the neighborhood between North St. and Evergreen Court.
